Here's a little update, the first image is a portrait I'm currently working on. Watercolor on watercolor paper followed by a painting a did a little while back that I never got a photo of and last is a shot of my current studio setup. always a fan of studio shots so I figured I would post up my own. Hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday!

Botobit Book

My good friend Wesley Eggebrecht just self-published a book titled "Botobit" which consists of a collection of 18 artists and over 120 Illustrations from some incredibly talented artists around the world. It's a high quality book from top to bottom that inspires me every time I pick it up and scan through the pages. There are artist interviews as well as original illustration from each of the artists working from the topic "Epidemic". It was a fun project and I hope you pick one up! They are being sold at the CCS bookstore, Leopolds Bookstore and online HERE! (Pick up one of those awesome Savant shirts while you're there!)

A couple random things, first is just a sketch I felt like coloring in photoshop and the second is a close up of a painting I've been working on. Trying some new things. Lots of sketches and the full painting soon.

I haven't posted on the ol blog in too long. Here is a couple new things I have been up too! The first is a pair of Chucks I just painted where I was asked to kinda combine characters from where the wild things are with some of my own, It was a really fun project! The second is something I worked on for Wesley Eggebrechts growing t-shirt/design company in which will be printed and sold as well as some process. Ill post a link to the prints when they are finalized. I have a few things in the works in terms of personal projects as well as some freelance stuff! enjoy!

100th post!

Whoah 100th post! Here's a bunch of random stuff i have been doing. A couple of quick hour or so landscapes in oil, a painting from a pans labyrinth still in progress, some random sketches and some WIP stuff.

It's been a little while since my last update but here is something i just finished up. I've been out of town enjoying sand and water and long hours of driving, yeah! I'll post some sketch's and a few things i'm working on when i get back from another little vacation, hope all is well with everyone!

Busybusybusy.

I have been landscape painting lately, i love it. Unfortunately I don't have a camera and can't get images on the interweb so I've been slacking in updates. Anyways here is something I'm currently working on, I'm going to get around to watercolouring it here soon and maybe use acrylics instead of gouache after i finish with the watercolour layers, we'll see. oh, and a random sketch below that for fun.
